Hi, I'm Ari.
I'm a former middle-school science teacher and track coach, and now a mom and education support to three daughters. A lover of science, I was surprised to find that my favorite part of teaching was the time set aside for homeroom advisory.
Over the course of a year, that small group of students became a close-knit family that could boldly discuss hard topics, make generous contributions to the community, be imperfect, and laugh heartily together. As my oldest daughter approaches adolescence, I'm inspired to recreate a nourishing environment like that for her and her peers.
